There are rumblings that Kansas City Chiefs franchise player, Dwayne Bowe, who landed in Kansas City this afternoon, might be coming home to sign his franchise tender? So What do we know for sure?
UPDATED 4:09 PM
KMBC TV-9 in Kansas City is reporting that Dwayne Bowe is going to sign his contract. Per our sources, barring a change in circumstances, we're told that Dwayne Bowe is highly motivated to sign his Franchise Tender and may do so as early as this evening.

We have confirmed through Warpaint Illustrated Out of Bounds Podcast Contributor, Nick Jacobs, that Dwayne Bowe has arrived in Kansas City. Upon landing in Kansas City, he had no comment on his intentions or reasons for coming back to the City of Fountains.
Original Story
Give it up for the world of social media and in particular, Twitter. A photo is surfacing that
Dwayne Bowe
is headed back to Kansas City Friday afternoon.
So with that proof splashed across the Chiefs nation, are things really heating up for the Chiefs to add the finally add their missing offensive piece? Is Dwayne Bowe really coming to Kansas City to sign his tender? What’s do we really know for certain?
As we first told you this morning on the Premium side of
Warpaint Illustrated.com’s Message Boards
, we were informed that Chiefs receiver Dwayne Bowe, might be softening his stance on getting into camp earlier than a previous report that came from
Arrowhead Addict
earlier in the week. That report indicated that Bowe could miss the entire pre-season before signing his franchise tender.
Since that report surfaced,
Warpaint Illustrated.com
has learned that Bowe was indeed getting a bit anxious that the
Kansas City Chiefs
might pull the franchise tag at some point and that would mean a personal loss of $9.5 million.
And if we connect all the dots, that appears to be a risk that Bowe isn’t willing to take. Honestly, it’s one he shouldn’t have taken in the first place.
That aside, when you add all those factors and one more it makes sense this madness could end soon.
Per our source, Bowe has been hearing the glowing returns in training camp about last years top pick Wide Receiver,
Jon Baldwin
. So putting the square peg in the square hole, it’s easy to assume why the former All Pro would come to Kansas City to grab his coin while it’s still on the table.
Per our source, Bowe believes he’ll be better served to come into camp before the final trio of pre-season games to get up to speed on the offense and make sure he’s ready for the regular season opener against Atlanta next month. If that’s truly the case, the rumblings he’s scheduled to arrive in Kansas City to do just that - may become a reality.
And that means, there might be a Bowe sighting in the Chiefs Kingdom later this evening or next week.
But then again, until Bowe signs on the dotted line, we won't know for certain whether his arrival in Kansas City is a long term or just a pit stop to tease the Chiefs nation.
Either way we have confirmed that Dwayne Bowe has indeed landed in Kansas City.
Stay tuned to Warpaint Illustrated for the latest on Dwayne Bowe.
