Chiefs Cut Chris Terry
Veteran Kyle Turley entered the season as the starter instead. This season, according to stats.com, Terry allowed seven sacks in 11 games, and was penalized six times, including five false starts.
This is likely the beginning of a projected shakeup of a Chiefs offensive line that has struggled all season long. Kansas City's offensive attack has been hobbled by the line's inability to open holes in the running game or protect the passer.
Terry's release gives the Chiefs an opportunity to get a good look at up and down prospect Will Svitek, who has played at left tackle mostly but will start on the right side against the Tennessee Titans today.
