Chiefs head coach Herman Edwards talked about his team's win over the Raiders, the Jaguars coming to town and a few of his players on Sirius NFL Radio.

It was easy for Chiefs head coach Herman Edwards to pinpoint one of the keys to Kansas City's 20-9 win over the Raiders as he discussed the game during his weekly appearance on Sirius NFL Radio.

"The turnovers were a big factor for us, obviously," he said. "We took the ball away five times. When you can do that, you're chances of winning are very, very good."

Edwards admitted that he was impressed by Oakland quarterback Andrew Walter's play during the game.

"I thought the kid did some things, he hung in there, he got hit a lot, but I thought he made some plays," he said.

And with the Jaguars coming to town this weekend with possible playoff implications looming for both teams, there's a player on the Jacksonville offense that has definitely caught the attention of Kansas City's head coach -- running back Maurice Jones-Drew. Edwards remarked that the Chiefs had talked about him during the draft period earlier this year. And he knows that he presents a challenge for any defense.

"You better get low, because he can break tackles," he said. "He's a big-legged, strong-legged guy. He's like a little bowling ball, with butcher knives on.

"It's hard to knock him off his feet, boy, he's a good football player."

You can listen in as Edwards talks about some of his young players that he feels will help build a good future for the team and his take on the current state of the team in this 9-minute interview, compliments of NFL Sirius Radio.
