| A prospect who passes the eyeball test, Ekwerekwu has yet to transfer his size/speed numbers into consistent football skills. Offers a good amount of upside, yet must start to produce on the field. |
| Biography: |
Three-year starter who totaled 30/351/2 as a senior after a
career-high 32 receptions and four touchdown catches the prior year.
Pos:
Nice-sized wide out who must take his game to the next level. Finds
the clearing in the defense, offers the quarterback a nice target and
looks the pass into his hands. Extends to make the reception away from
his frame. Displays a sense of timing as well as good eye/hand
coordination. Plays heads-up football and gives effort in all aspects.
Neg:
Marginal playing speed and overall quickness. Production in college
has been spotty. |
