| Sproles was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft, 130th overall.
2007
Sat No.3 on the depth chart with 15 game appearances. He rushed 164 yards good for a pair of touchdowns. With Michael Turner off the roster, Sproles could compete for the No. 2 spot.
2006
Placed on "Reserve-Injured" list on August 15, 2006 after he fractured his fibula in the team's preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers.
2005
Made his biggest impact returning kicks. Returned 63 kickoffs for 1,528 yards (24.3 avg.) and 18 punts for 108 yards (6.0 avg.). He was taken off the punt team late in the season when he had trouble fielding the ball cleanly.
Also contributed from scrimmage, running eight times for 50 yards and catching three passes for 10 yards. |
