| A surprise selection with higher rated running back's still available, Pinner was picked up by Detroit in the 4th round of the 2003 draft (99th overall). The Kentucky scatback has had injury problems in the past, but is valuable as a receiver out of the backfield and is a very shifty runner. Very similar to the 4th round pickup of MSU running back Sedrick Irvin a few years ago. Could prove to be valuable addition if he stays healthy. Tony Pauline | TFY Draft - All-Conference selection as a senior after posting career numbers carrying the ball 283 times for 1,414 yards with 13 scores and catching 37 passes for 264 yards and a pair of scores. Started three games as a junior totaling 100/441/4 on the ground with 12/115/0 as a pass catcher.
