Chiefs agree to terms with Glenn Dorsey

Warpaint Illustrated has learned that Chiefs' first-round pick Glenn Dorsey has finally agreed to terms on a contract.

Per WPI Publisher Nick Athan, a team source confirmed Saturday morning that Dorsey has agreed in principle to a five or six-year deal with the Chiefs, who will reportedly announce his signing today at training camp. Financial terms of the deal are unknown at this time.

Dorsey, the defensive tackle taken with the fifth overall pick in April, is expected to report to training camp in River Falls sometime late this morning or early this afternoon.

With Dorsey in the fold, the Chiefs will have 11 of their 12 draft picks under contract for training camp. The only exception is seventh-round pick Michael Merritt, who hasn't signed due to injury issues at this time.
